Fern embodies a delicate stillness — soft, familiar, and faintly unsettling. Beneath its gentle exterior lies an ambiguous presence that feels both comforting and strange, evoking the quiet tension that defines Heyun House's world.

The sculpting process begins with detailed 3D modeling, creating the foundation for Fern's unique character and expression.

Each Fern head begins as a digital sculpture, meticulously refined over countless iterations. The 3D model is then prepared for printing, with careful attention to support structures and surface quality. After printing, the master is hand-finished before silicone mold creation.
The resin casting process requires precision timing and careful temperature control. Each head is individually cast, de-molded, and hand-sanded to remove seam lines before the painting stage begins.
Hand-painted details bring Fern to life with soft, dreamy colors and delicate features. Each face-up takes 8-12 hours to complete with multiple layers of sealant between applications.

The face-up process uses high-quality pastels and acrylics, sealed with UV-protective matte sealant. Each layer is carefully built up to create depth and dimension in the features.
FINAL PRODUCT

House

To preserve the quality of your doll head, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Using a UV-protective spray is recommended to help prevent yellowing over time.
When not in use, store the head safely in its box.
